Description
Hytera PD715Ex ATEX VHF
Intrinsically safe digital-analog radios in the ETSI DMR standard
For many specialists, radios are indispensable equipment in their daily work. For anyone who has to work around flammable gases, dust or in mining, safety is particularly important.
Thanks to their high durability and intrinsic safety, the Hytera DMR PD715 Ex and PD795 Ex handheld radios guarantee reliable communication in these hazardous environments.
The PD715 Ex and PD795 Ex portable radios meet the requirements of the open ETSI DMR standard. Compliance with the European ATEX directive, FM and IEC standards and exceptional durability ensure reliable communication in potentially hazardous environments where explosive gases or dust may be present
Main features
Safe and durable
In addition to the requirements of the European ATEX standard, IEC directives and the North American FM standard, the radios also meet the requirements of the MIL-STD-810C/D/E/F/G standard and are protected against water and dust in accordance with the IP67 protection level. This makes both radio models ideal for safe and reliable use even in potentially explosive environments.
Error protection
If you attempt to use a battery or accessories that do not comply with the ATEX standard with the radio, the device will inform the user about this.
Hermetic plastic housing
The radiotelephone and battery are made in hermetic plastic housings, thanks to which the internal circuits are tightly protected against the effects of explosive gases and dust particles.
Heavy Duty LCD Display Cover (PD795Ex)
The heavy-duty LCD cover is highly scratch-resistant and can even withstand impacts from a 1kg hammer.
Innovative battery lock
The patented battery lock ensures that the battery will not fall out of the radio even if it is dropped on a hard surface.
Integrated GPS as standard
Using the integrated GPS module, the PD795 Ex can send location information, for example, to dispatch systems. The dispatcher can process this information and use geofencing, radio location and GPS tracking functions.
Software update possible
The possibility of updating the software provides new functionalities. By changing the firmware, you can activate other digital and analog operating modes without having to purchase a new radio.
